Sign Up and Sign In

Create your GitSec account and access the dashboard.

Creating an Account​

  1. Navigate to dashboard.gitsec.io/sign-up.
  2. Click Sign Up on the sign-in page.
  3. Enter your email address and choose a password.
  4. Complete the reCAPTCHA verification.
  5. Accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
  6. Click Sign Up to create your account.

You will receive a verification email. Click the link in the email to verify your account. After verification, you will be redirected to the Sign In page.

Signing In​

  1. Go to dashboard.gitsec.io.
  2. Enter your email and password.
  3. Complete the reCAPTCHA verification.
  4. Click Sign In.

Onboarding — Storage Region Selection​

If this is your first time signing in, you will see an onboarding screen before reaching the dashboard. Here you need to select your GitSec Storage region:

  • Europe (EU) — Store backups in EU data centers.
  • United States (US) — Store backups in US data centers.
  • Both — Store backups in both EU and US regions.

This selection determines where your backup data will be stored by default. You can change this later from the Storage settings.

After completing the onboarding, you will land on the Dashboard page within your default workspace.

Forgot Password​

If you forget your password:

  1. Click Forgot your password? on the sign-in page.
  2. Enter the email address associated with your account.
  3. Check your inbox for a password reset link.
  4. Follow the link and set a new password.
