Dashboard

The Dashboard is the first page you see after signing in. It gives you an at-a-glance view of your backup health and recent activity.

Metrics

Four metric cards are displayed at the top of the Dashboard:

MetricDescription
Total BackupsThe total number of backup snapshots created across all repositories.
Total RestoresThe total number of restore operations performed.
Connected RepositoriesThe number of repositories connected to GitSec.
Active SchedulersThe number of schedulers currently enabled.

Backup Success Rate

A chart visualizes your backup success rate over time, showing the percentage of successful backups compared to failures. Use this to quickly identify if any recent backups need attention.

Recent Activities

The Recent Activities section shows a feed of the latest backup and restore operations, including:

  • The repository name
  • The type of operation (backup or restore)
  • The trigger (on-demand, scheduled, or push event)
  • The timestamp

Active Tasks and Recently Completed

Two additional panels display:

  • Active Tasks — Currently running backup or restore jobs with progress indicators.
  • Recently Completed — The most recent finished operations with their status (success or failed).
